January recap

In random order:

• Keeping busy at work, my Android app is near completion.
• Sold the WoW CE on eBay for $1525. Profit: ~$900.
• Found a bubble tea place near work, been there every day since. Hot bbl tea in winter FTW.
• Watched Slumdog Millionaire. Three times. Once in the theatre and two times with friends. Very good movie.
• Got a huge gummy bear from a friend at work. Still haven’t touched it yet.
• Celebrated Chinese New Year by having Peking Duck with my friends. Yummy.
• Went banghra dancing with a few friends one night. Pretty fun.
• Spent a weekend in Jersey, at my cousin’s place. On our way to a club, his car broke down in the middle of nowhere, at 1 AM. Fortunately a friend came to pick us up so we didn’t freeze to death.
• After celebrating a friend’s birthday, some of my friends got into a car accident around my place. Everybody was ok, but we spent 3 hours out in the cold until we figured everything out with the other driver and the police.
• Someone close got diagnosed with cancer and now she’s in the hospital, pending treatment. It’s not looking good 🙁
• Broke up with my girl, after a relationship of almost a year.
• Passed time with Fallout 3 and The Witcher. Very good games. Finished F3, waiting for the DLC in March.
• Didn’t read any book in over two months. Feeling bad about it :/
• Been watching the new seasons of Battlestar Galactica, Heroes, Lost, Scrubs and 24.
• Met up with a visiting friend from Romania and took her to dinner to an all-you-can-eat sushi buffet. I’ll probably bring others to that place as well since everybody seems to love it.
• For some reason I feel more compelled to tinker with the blog’s appearance (again!) rather than actually write on it. There you go.
